We have been waiting, waiting and waiting for crew dragon to launch to ISS, after delayed flight due to weather. But the view of that rocket lifting off from the Launchpad 39-A indeed was amazing, the same launch pad as in the famous Appolo missions launched from.
The Falcon 9 lifted off at 4:23 PM EST (Around 12:53 AM IST) with crew Dragon.
It took around 15ish mins to reach space and deploy the Dragon capsule. Once it reached space, the crew did a final checkup, made sure everything works fine before proceeding. It took another 18ish hrs to do catch up with The ISS.
Congrats Elon!
